      Training for each sport, each team, and each athlete needs to have a different approach. Infusion Fitness develops programs that are catered to each athlete, sport, and team. Sports fitness training programs are designed to condition athletes specifically for the unique demands of their sports by building the proper combination of components. Workouts specifically backed by science are designed for each sport. Sport specific training will provide your team the mental and physical edge above your peers. Infusion Fitness brings new elements to the team and individuals by incorporating Power, Explosiveness, Speed, Balance, Core, while increasing the Cardiovascular system. Corrective Stretching/Corrective Exercises are applied if needed for individuals that currently need rehabilitation.

        As NASM Certified Personal Trainers at Infusion Fitness Kamloops, our Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model is the industry’s first comprehensive training system based on scientific, evidence-based research.         This systematic and integrated (total body) training, reconditioning and rehabilitation program incorporates Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory, Core, Balance, Power, and Strength. The OPT model focuses on integrated solutions for every fitness level. It’s proven successful in training, reconditioning and rehabilitating elite, college, and recreational athletes alike. It’s also been extremely successful in helping people decrease body fat, increase lean muscle mass, improve performance and overall health. In other words, it’s good for everybody. Our systematic approach to designing exercise programs can help anyone reach their fitness goals from beginners to professional athletes. We provide individual attention to help you reach your goal; from building muscles, losing weight, injury rehabilitation or just general fitness. Hiring a certified personal trainer is a way to train properly and efficiently while getting taught proper form and technique, which is one of the most important aspects to your individual fitness journey.

        We provide a semi private training atmosphere with just yourself and the trainer in the gym. Sessions are always one hour long with clients coming into the gym every 45 minutes. It has been proven that you will push yourself 60% harder and will get results 40% faster training with a personal trainer.

        If you don’t feel comfortable training by yourself that’s fine, up to 4 individuals in a group at a time with a trainer but you must provide the group and everyone works out to their own individual level of fitness.

          REHABILITATE FASTER WITH PROFESSIONAL HELP

          At Infusion Fitness  we incorporate postural correction, flexibility, strength and stability training. Our main focus is to restore functional movement, circulation, joint mobility and muscle elasticity. Programs have been used after specific injuries, or with muscle diseases, arthritic conditions, diabetes, scoliosis, kyphosis, osteoporosis, post fracture, pre/post surgery, joint replacements, leg length discrepancy and various conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel syndrome.

          We use methods of assisted stretching, corrective/stabilization exercises, and education to promote performance, muscle rehabilitation and repair. Affected tissues are carefully lengthened through a gentle, short duration style of assisted stretching that is synchronized with proper breathing. Through progressively increasing range of motion and returning natural movement, we are able to release tension, lengthen connective tissue and effect vascular and lymphatic circulation. Corrective exercises are used to restore correct (not necessarily previous) biomechanical function.

          Programs are also used to develop specific muscle stability and promote both core and local joint stamina. Functional movement exercises are used to re-educate the neuromuscular system and safely integrate the new body position and movement patterns.

          This has been a proven system to help assist with injuries while also helping to prevent other injuries from occurring.

          MUSCLE REHABILITATION THROUGH MOVEMENT THERAPY AND CORRECTIVE EXERCISE

          When you’re in the process of recovery the thought of active rehabilitation and exercise can be pretty daunting. We employ a gentle yet effective approach of active rehabilitation techniques, corrective exercise, and education.

          Our methods are designed to restore movement and circulation to the muscles, joints, and fascia without further aggravation to the symptomatic areas. Taking into account each joint, its movements and the muscles that generate those movements, we offer safe and effective methods to increase mobility, flexibility, and stability.

          One of our areas of focus is to help educate and encourage clients to become active in their personal healthcare. We provide practical options aimed to help you remove the need for ongoing therapy.

          POSTURE ALIGNMENT

          Poor postural alignment can play a major role in many painful musculoskeletal conditions. When the skeletal structures are misaligned the resulting muscular imbalances can lead to wear and tear and joint degeneration. Misalignments can also affect the performance of other bodily functions such as circulation, digestion, and breathing. Improving posture can correct the misalignments that are a factor in pain-related conditions, help prevent joint damage, and provide a solid musculoskeletal foundation for the circulatory system and internal organs.

          Postural alignment therapy restores the body's correct anatomical position by utilizing specific stretches and functional exercises tailored to each individuals condition. The purpose is to realign the load-bearing joints of the body (shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles) and stabilize the postural muscles that are there to hold us in the correct body position.

          Correcting your posture may feel a little awkward at first because your body has become so used to operating incorrectly, but with a little bit of practice, good posture can become second nature. The benefits to overall health and wellbeing are well worth the effort.

With the individual attention it allows us to correct mistakes as they happen which in turn allows the body to learn muscle memory using correct form and refrain from developing any bad habits. The ultimate way to build proper technique!

            Learn the proper technique for Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Become proficient in throwing punches, kicks, elbows and knees with explosive combos, while getting one of the best cardiovascular workouts known in the fitness industry. Build confidence and get into the best shape you have ever been in.

              Learn how to punch properly and effectively while simultaneously receiving an amazing work out. Bag work, speed bag, hand pads, partner drills and controlled sparring are just a few of the skills incorporated into the one-hour session. This is for individuals with or without experience.
