Cassidy is the owner of Infusion Fitness and has a dynamic background in multiple sports and martial arts. He is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy Of Sports Medicine (NASM), which is the leading authority in certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health and fitness, sports performance, and sports medicine professionals. Cassidy incorporates the skills and knowledge learned from NASM into each and every training session that he provides to his clients. Cassidy furthered his studies to become a Fitness Nutritional Specialist (FNS), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Cassidy's diverse knowledge and experience allows him to train and implement programs based on clients individual goals and needs. He brings over 15 years of personal training experience, and his facility and has been successfully operating for over 10 years. Whatever the target or goal that a client brings forward, whether it is sports performance, rehabilitation, general fitness or weight loss, Cassidy will help you succeed. Cassidy was born in Winnipeg, and when he was 5 years old his family moved to Leeds, England. He joined a competitive gymnastics program, played soccer, ran track and field and played in a rugby union league. Cassidy understands the pressure of fierce competition starting from a young age as he represented Leeds, Yorkshire at National gymnastics events in England. Cassidy's family moved back to Canada when he was 12 and he continued to play soccer and run track and field. Shortly after, he peaked an interest in martial arts. Cassidy started training with traditional martial arts, starting with Kung FU progressing into Hapkido then moving into boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu. After graduating a year early from high school, he moved to Kamloops from the Lower Mainland to continue his education at Thompson Rivers University (TRU). Cassidy decided to stay in Kamloops to build his career as a professional fitness expert. Infusion Fitness started in 2008, while working at other facilities; he grew the business enough to be able to open up his own facility in 2011. In 2017, Cassidy was able to expand his business by relocating to a location in downtown Kamloops. This facility offers the space to hold an array of functional training equipment, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) room, and an ample amount of dynamic space. Cassidy is always updating certifications and specializations, learning new techniques and educating himself to stay on top of new health and fitness trends. As the fitness industry is always evolving, he constantly evolves with it.
